Great read here I love the Bridgestone example - what are we missing here. If only more leaders just paused and wondered of their teams, what are people not telling me?
I read it 8 years back. I see lot of parallels to the Amazon Leadership Principles. I really liked the way you tied some of the frameworks to every Principles.
The framework is designed to promote collaboration, and works best when a single hat is picked at any given time. That said, I think it's "possible" to have multiple hats at once, though you would need to make sure there is clarity in who in the team is wearing which hat, and that everyone gets the chance to listen to all hats, and contribute to them.

It's very beneficial. Thank you very much.
Thanks for sharing, Gaurav. I found the book through-provoking, and it's always good to get someone else's take on the same content.

It’s a great book, and an amazing reference. There is also a great app that comes with the book which crystallizes the lessons even more.
I wasn't aware of the app - thanks Nick!
I have a question: can we use all six hats at once?
