Wow, thanks for your efforts in compiling such a great list! Luckily, I could tick off on more than 50% of the books in my ‘already read’ library. Kudos again on this work.

I’m a book junkie, but I’ve only read about investing for close to 15 years. However, when I got sober in 2010, I read every self-help & personal growth book I could get my hands on.

My son, at 20, is finally ready to read the books I’ve been trying to get him to read for years. So I just ordered him a copy of “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, “How to Win Friends & I fluency People”, “Think & Grow Rich”, and Rich Dad, Poor Dad”.

Basically, because I give those books credit for changing my perception from a victim state of mind to someone who knew they were capable of anything.

List is quite overwhelming. Which book is the best of them?

I don’t have a personal favourite as I like so many of them. Feel free to explore them (Amazon links included) and pick one in a category that resonates with you

So much to read, so little time!

Thanks for compiling this list. Out if the ones I have read so far, my favourite are:

The Psychology of Money

The Black Swan

Good Strategy Bad Strategy

Radical Candor

Never Split the Difference

I've read many of these (around 18) - it's a great selection! Maybe one day my future book will make the list 😉

What an amazing collection, Gaurav.

There are obviously endless great books out there on leadership. So there will always be a trade-off when deciding for the “best”.

But drawing inspiration from what others found useful helps a lot.

And hey, you don’t need to read all of them cover to cover. There are tools like Shortform that help you get the core ideas from many books.

Thanks for the add, 100% agreed Thrive should be on the list. I’m working on a revised list and will be sure to include it.
